The Challenge
The property lacked a unified landscape connecting the front entrance to the backyard. The front required stronger curb appeal and a more defined arrival experience, while the backyard needed extensive excavation, grade management, and new hardscaping to support multiple outdoor living areas.
Our Approach
We developed a whole-property landscape plan built around the home’s architecture. In front, paver walkways, low stone walls, formal plantings, and lighting frame the entrance. In back, more than six feet of excavation made room for custom patios, retaining walls, a pavilion, and a sunken hot tub.
The Solution
The completed Upper Arlington landscape now feels intentional from the street to the backyard. A structured front entrance creates lasting curb appeal, while connected patios, stonework, plantings, lighting, and outdoor living spaces transform the backyard into a functional retreat for relaxing and entertaining.
