Designed for an Old World Custom Homes model in Powell, this project creates a cohesive landscape experience around the entire property. Custom hardscaping, outdoor gathering areas, structured plantings, privacy screening, and integrated lighting connect the home’s front entrance, side courtyard, and backyard.

The Challenge

As a model home, the property needed to make a strong impression from every approach—not only at the front entrance. Multiple doors, walkways, and outdoor spaces required a unified Powell landscape design that could improve circulation, define gathering areas, and complement the home’s architecture.

Our Approach

We organized the property into connected outdoor zones. Paver walks and landings establish clear routes around the home, while seat walls, columns, and accent inlays define the entrances. Layered foundation plantings, ornamental trees, privacy evergreens, and landscape lighting create structure throughout the property.

The Solution

The completed design gives the Powell model home a polished landscape from every angle. A custom gas fire pit, outdoor dining patio, welcoming front entrance, connected paver walkways, privacy screening, and layered plantings create a property designed for gathering, circulation, and lasting curb appeal.

Designed Around the Entire Home

Rather than treating each entrance and patio separately, the plan uses repeating pavers, masonry details, plant forms, and lighting to create continuity around the property. The front entry, side courtyard, and backyard each have a distinct purpose while remaining part of one cohesive landscape.
