COLUMBUS ITALIAN FESTIVAL

Proudly Supporting the Columbus Italian Festival for Nearly 20 Years

A tradition rooted in heritage, community and Columbus.

For nearly two decades, Ciminello’s Landscape has been proud to support the Columbus Italian Festival and its celebration of Italian heritage in the heart of Italian Village.

What began as a sponsorship has grown into a longstanding relationship with an event and community that mean something special to our company.

In 2026, we were honored to contribute to the festival in a new way: by helping build six permanent bocce courts that will serve the festival and community for years to come.

MORE THAN A SPONSORSHIP

Nearly Two Decades of Community

Ciminello’s has called Central Ohio home since 1986.

Throughout our history, supporting the communities where we live, work and build has remained an important part of who we are.

For nearly 20 years, that has included supporting the Columbus Italian Festival at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Each fall, the festival brings thousands of people together in Italian Village to celebrate Italian heritage through food, music, entertainment, faith, family traditions and, of course, a little friendly competition on the bocce courts.

For Ciminello’s, being part of that tradition is about more than placing our name on an event.

It’s about continuing to invest in a community that has supported our family, our company and our work for generations.

BUILDING A NEW FESTIVAL TRADITION

Six Permanent Bocce Courts.
Built for What Comes Next.

In 2026, our relationship with the Columbus Italian Festival took on a new chapter.

Ciminello’s was proud to help construct six permanent bocce courts on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, creating a dedicated space for one of the festival’s most beloved traditions.

What was once something prepared specifically for festival weekend now has a permanent home.

These courts were created for competition, connection and the generations of festival-goers who will step onto them in the years ahead.

For our team, it was an opportunity to use what we do every day—designing and building lasting outdoor spaces—to contribute to something much larger than a single project.

Built to gather. Built to compete. Built to last.

WATCH THE COURTS COME TO LIFE

From Construction to Festival Tradition

Follow along as the Ciminello’s team transforms the space at St. John the Baptist into six permanent bocce courts for the Columbus Italian Festival.

Built for Generations

A landscape can be more than something beautiful to look at. The best outdoor spaces create places for people to gather.

They become the backdrop for conversations, celebrations, traditions and memories.

That's what makes this project particularly meaningful to our team.

Long after construction ended, these courts will continue bringing people together—and every new tournament, friendly match and festival weekend will add another chapter to their story.

CELEBRATING ITALIAN HERITAGE IN COLUMBUS

Roma Eterna:
All Roads Lead to Rome

The Columbus Italian Festival returns to Italian Village October 9–11, 2026, bringing another weekend of Italian food, live entertainment, cultural traditions and community to the grounds surrounding St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

This year's theme, “Roma Eterna: All Roads Lead to Rome,” celebrates the history and enduring influence of the Eternal City.

And this year, festival-goers will experience a new addition to the tradition:

the permanent bocce courts.

We look forward to seeing the courts filled with competitors, families, friends and generations of festival-goers throughout the weekend.

Nearly 20 Years Together and Counting

Ciminello’s is proud to continue supporting the Columbus Italian Festival and the people who make it possible year after year.

Our company has spent 40 years designing and building outdoor spaces throughout Central Ohio.

Being able to bring that experience to a place rooted in community, heritage and tradition makes this one especially meaningful.

To everyone who has supported the festival, competed on the bocce courts, volunteered, attended or helped carry these traditions forward:

We'll see you at the festival.
